Two brothers, one stubborn idea
Harrison Titanium was founded by brothers Jones and Smith Harrison on a belief that sounds obvious until you go shopping for a pan: cookware should be made to last.
We didn't come from the cookware industry. We came from the same place you did — a kitchen, a stove, and a drawer full of pans that had each seemed like a good idea at the time. Coatings that flaked into the food. Handles that worked loose. Bases that warped the first time we got them properly hot. Every couple of years we'd replace them, spend a bit more, and end up in the same place.
Eventually we stopped replacing and started asking why.
What we found
Most cookware is built to a price, then sold on a promise. The coating that makes a pan effortless in the shop is the same coating that fails eighteen months in — and it's usually the part the manufacturer is least willing to describe. "Professional grade" turned out to mean nothing at all. Honest cookware was surprisingly hard to find.
Titanium was the answer. Strong, corrosion-resistant, and stable at the kind of heat that ruins lesser pans. Used bare, it needs no coating at all — so there's nothing to scratch off and nothing to baby. It's cookware you can use hard, every day, for years.
What we said no to
Building this way meant turning things down. Cheaper alloys that looked identical and behaved differently. Coatings that would have improved our margins at the cost of our customers' trust. Growth that would have required us to quietly lower the standard.
Every piece that left our hands had to be something we'd put our own name on. That wasn't a slogan — it was the daily work of running this company.
Where we are now
We're closing this chapter. What we built was real: the craftsmanship, the customers, and the tens of thousands of kitchens we got to be part of. Closing doesn't take that away.
